XONORATEINSTITUTE

ABOUT

Education for the next chapter.

Xonorate Institute is a modern second-chance professional education institution, built to give exonerees and the broader justice-impacted community the skills, credentials, mentorship, and credibility to rebuild.

WHY XONORATE EXISTS

Release is not the same thing as rebuilding.

Exoneration can end a wrongful conviction, but it doesn't automatically restore a career, financial foundation, professional network, or sense of direction. Xonorate Institute exists to help bridge that gap.

OUR MISSION

Practical skills, real credentials, lasting opportunity.

We exist to give justice-impacted people the same caliber of professional education available anywhere else — financial literacy, career readiness, digital fluency, entrepreneurship, and advocacy skills — delivered with dignity and without cost as a barrier.

OUR APPROACH

One school, two supported paths.

Fellows and Members share the same instructors, curriculum, and certificates. What differs is the level of support: Fellows receive full scholarships and dedicated mentorship as the flagship program; Members receive free or sliding-scale access to the same education.

WHO WE SERVE

Exonerees, and the broader justice-impacted community.

Xonorate Fellows are wrongfully convicted and exonerated individuals — our flagship, most-supported program. Xonorate Members are justice-impacted individuals more broadly, including formerly incarcerated and records-impacted people. Both receive the same quality of education.
